According to independent annalists from NPD Group the videogame Elden Ring is the most sold game in the United States for a period of 12 months.

Over the period since Elden Ring has been released(25 Feb 2022) and is around 3 months on the market. Call of Duty : Vanguard was released on 5 November and the release period is 6 months after the release date. According to a message on twitter. The annalists did not release the exact numbers of sales from Elden Ring but the publisher Bandai Namco is sharing them.

Elden Ring has been sold 13.4 million times – prior to this news the game was awarded the best new game franchise over the last six years.

The publisher Activision has informed the shareholders that the current title is not meeting their expectations.

Other information that the NPD Group has revealed is that the Lego : Star Wars – Skywalker Saga the most sold game in the US for the month of April.
